The City of Port Coquitlam's Computer Aided Dispatch assists Fire and Emergency Services personnel by providing more detailed property information such as hydrant location, cross streets and special information given to us by you, our residents. This detailed information enables our department to better provide you with prompt and professional service when responding to an emergency situation.

Our Fire Dispatch Computer is programmed with:
  • the name and location of person(s) who may require assistance in the event of an emergency evacuation  (e.g. physical disability, visual or hearing impairment, special medical equipment such as oxygen tanks, etc.)
  • any type of special caution notes, which would alert our fire fighters to any unusual circumstances within your residence (e.g. hazardous material storage, dangerous pets, location of children's bedrooms, additional dwelling units within the home, etc.)
  • medical information you feel could assist our First Responders
