- In 2007, there were 8,811 courses offered through 41,286 program hours!
- Over 22,427 people registered in programs, while another 479,066 utilized one of our services.
- The Recreation Division distributed 428 passes through the new Grade 5 "Get Active" Program. These passes were utilized 4,849 times during the year.
- Participation in sports and fitness-related programs and services grew by 48% in 2007.
- Participation in aquatics-related programs and services grew by 19% in 2007.
- More than 8,000 people viewed this year's spectacular fireworks display in Castle Park on Canada Day.
