As the senior standing committee of Council, the Finance and Intergovernmental Committee is responsible for reviewing all matters referred to the Committee that are related to the overall administration of the City including human resources, the City’s finances including audit, and other government organizations. City Council or any member of Council individually, the Chief Administrative Officer, Director of Corporate Services and the Financial Officer may refer issues to the Committee for consideration and decision.
Committee Meeting Schedule
Finance and Intergovernmental (FIG) Committee meetings are regularly scheduled for 4:30 pm on the first and third Thursday of the month. Contact the staff resource or review the Community Calendar to confirm the date and time of the next FIG meeting. Meetings are held in the Heritage Room on the third floor of City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam. Click here for map and directions to City Hall.
