What kind of community do you want to live and work in? The City is committed to providing opportunities for citizens to tell us their priorities. 

Public consultation opportunities:

  • Online Survey - LED streetlights on Shaughnessy Street

  • 2011 - 2015 Financial Plan Public Opportunity to Comment
    Port Coquitlam City Council will be holding a public opportunity to comment at a meeting prior to setting the financial plan guidelines for the 2011-2015 Financial Plan.

    This opportunity to share your input will be on Thursday, July 15th, 2010 at 4:30 pm during the regular meeting of the Finance & Intergovernmental Committee. Council will consider the guidelines including the comments received from the public at the next Regular Financial and Intergovernmental Committee Meeting on July 29th, 2010. Copies of the 2011-2015 guidelines will be included in our July 15th, 2010 Finance and Intergovernmental Agenda Package which will be available for pick up at City Hall on July 13th.

Stay informed about municipal issues by reading the local newspapers and by:

  • signing up for our e-Update electronic newsletter
  • visiting the What's New section of this website
  • watching for Council and committee meeting agendas and minutes
  • attending Council meetings or watching them on Shaw Community Channel 4, at 9 pm the day of the meeting and 11 am the following Saturday
  • keeping an eye on our online Community Calendar
  • reading the quarterly Update newsletters delivered with your utility notices and in the local newspapers, or online
  •  keeping up with Mayor Greg Moore’s activities through his webpage and Mayor's Blog
  • checking out local youth activities and events on our PocoYouth website
