The City made a commitment to public consultation at the beginning of the CMO planning process. The Project Team maintained constant communication with residents and adjusted the project’s plans over the years to address public concerns, particularly those of residents closest to the project.

• open houses and a public meeting,
• displays at civic facilities and community events,
• Project Factsheets and articles in City publications,
• a project website (www.portcoquitlam.ca/cmo),
• direct e-mail contact with project lead Dave Currie (curried@portcoquitlam.ca)
• regular letter updates to residents and businesses directly affected by the project construction, and
• direct private contact with owners of properties that are required for the CMO project.
