Engineering & Operations
The Engineering and Operations Department maintains and enhances the quality of life for people who live and work in our community through the provision of sustainable municipal services, including transportation, sanitary sewers, drainage systems, water supply, flood control dykes and garbage collection, plus environmental programs such as recycling, composting, watercourse stewardship and energy conservation.
The Engineering and Operations Department facilitates the development and deployment of the municipal services needed to sustain Port Coquitlam today while preparing for future growth. The Engineering Division is responsible for the municipal services associated with our City's expansion, including the planning, design and construction of municipal capital projects, infrastructure, management and renewal, traffic management and municipal services for land development. The role of the Operations Division is to provide ongoing operation and maintenance services for municipal roads, water, drainage, sanitary, solid waste collection and recycling.Contact
