Poco Trail Wide The City maintains a total of 266 hectares of parkland and natural areas, as well as park sites, playgrounds, sport fields, tennis courts, sport courts, outdoor pools and the Traboulay PoCo Trail system, along with numerous internal trails.

    Port Coquitlam's Parks crews are proud of the work they do to ensure that our City is beautiful and clean. In addition to City beautification, trees, plants and parks help to increase property values and instill community pride. Well groomed neighbourhoods tend to attract business and families while discouraging vandalism and crime.

    Did you know that each year the City's parks crews beautify our City with over:

    • 165,000 new plants
    • 108 hanging baskets
    • 65 new trees
    In addition to the new annual plantings, a dedicated crew of gardeners, parks and arborist staff care for:
    • 266 hectares of park land
    • 46km of trails and greenways
    • 4,500 boulevard and park trees
