Unveiling of the Shaughnessy Underpass Mural Project
Location: 2253 Leigh Square, Leigh Square Community Arts Village

The Shaughnessy Underpass Mural is a part of the Necklace Project, a series of 10 public art projects threaded together as individual jewels on a necklace of common purpose and inter-municipal collaboration in 10 municipalities throughout Metro Vancouver. For more information click here.
The Leigh Square Community Arts Village includes three intimately-scaled buildings surrounding an inner courtyard. The existing courtyard contains an impressive outdoor performing stage, a sculpture courtyard, two public murals, seating areas and nearby eateries to support the introduction of festivals, an open-air market, outdoor concerts or a craft fair.
