Have your blood pressure checked weekly on Monday 10:00-11:00AM and Wednesday 10:00-11:00AM.
Community Volunteer Services For Seniors
Funding from the Wilson Centre Seniors’ Advisory Association provides volunteer services for seniors who are isolated in the Tri-Cities area. Those interested in volunteering to provide visiting, grocery shopping or phone calls to seniors who are unable to get out of their homes should call 604-927-7919. Seniors or people with physical limitations who need help with their grocery shopping can call the same number. If you are aware of a senior who requires some friendly support, call 604-927-7919.
Foot Clinic
The fourth Thursday on each month a qualified podiatrist will be in attendance to give your feet the care and attention they might need. Call 604-927-7970 to book an appointment. Applicable fees will be charged.
Free Legal Advice
Wilson Centre is very fortunate to have obtained the services of Paulette V. Gurski, Barrister & Solicitor, to provide free legal consultations with respect to wills, estate administration and probate inquiries. For consultations call 604-552-4353.
Free Denture Check Up
Edwin Fung a registered Denturist and a member of the OAPO Branch and is available to provide free denture check ups & offer advice on denture maintenance and its impact on our health. To book an appointment call 604-464-7779.
Government Document Forms
If you need assistance with government forms such as CPP, OAS, or Safer we have resource document volunteers that are available to assist you. This service is separate from our Income Tax/Returns service. You will need to make an appointment by calling 604-927-7970. This is a free service.
Hearing Clinic
Gregory Mistal, MA, CCC-A, F-AA, Aud., Certified Audiologist will be providing complete hearing testing service for seniors this year at Wilson Centre. Greg will take the time to answer all your questions. Clinic is the third Wednesday of each month, 9am – 12pm. To book an appointment call 604-927-7970.
