What is a Community Police Station?

Community Police Stations are part of the RCMP Community Police initiative in Port Coquitlam.  Community Police Stations (CPS) enable the police to better serve their community and likewise enables the community to support their police services.

Staffed by community volunteers, a CPS brings the police to the community station where the public may go to address issues within the community. Persons attending the stations may receive assistance in reporting minor offences, assistance dealing with police members, or may obtain information relating to crime prevention and community police concerns.
